Strengths Based Leadership program

Do you have the opportunity to do what you do best every day?

Chances are, you do not.  All too often, our natural talents goes untapped. From the cradle to the cubicle, we devote more time to fixing our shortcomings than to developing our strengths.

To help people uncover their talents, Gallup introduced the first version of its online assessment, StrengthsFinder, in the 2001 management book Now, Discover Your Strengths. The book spent more than five years on the bestseller lists and ignited a global conversation.

The StrengthsFinder research is based on the question ‘What if we studied what is right with people?’ As a result a philosophy was developed and is based on the assertion that individuals are able to gain far more when they expend effort to build on their greatest talents than when they spend a comparable amount of effort to remediate their weaknesses.

The StrengthsFinder program is about individuals realising their greatest talents, building them into strengths and being able to share those talents with their team which provides greater understanding of themselves and their team members. It’s about acknowledging and celebrating those things we do well and understanding the uniqueness of individuals particularly when it comes to building successful teams.

The Program has been divided into three parts:

·         The completion of an online instrument prior to the workshop

·         StrengthsFinder workshop or a Strengths based Leadership workshop (4 hour programs)

·         Accountability Partner program (optional but recommended)

We have got outstanding results working with individuals and teams by transforming cultures, mindsets and team dynamics. This program comes highly recommended - see below!

“Lisa undertook a Strengths Finder 2.0 workshop session with my management team. As a new Executive to Kangan, Lisa proactively engaged me and demonstrated her initiative to understand the strategic linkages and benefits that the program would provide. The session was run professionally and it was a great exercise for any new or established team to undertake. We now have an appreciation of our strengths and more importantly our opportunities to work together more effectively and strategically.” Kelly Townson, General Manager, Business Development and Client Value, Kangan Institute, 2012
